Throwback Thursday

“Wiley is a sweet young pup who was just recently adopted despite his severe anxiety and overall fear of the world around him. Over the last few weeks, Wiley has made rapid progress with his trust and courage, and a scared dog who was once too scared to come out of his cage or get near a leash has now been on a walk outside! Wiley’s mom never gave up on him, and with help of Wiley’s former foster mom and other kind community members, Wiley is on track to live the happy life he always hoped he could find.”

“When I first got Wiley 3 weeks ago, he was so afraid, he didn’t come out of his crate for 24 hours. He would react to the sight of humans and leashes with sheer terror, it was clear he was abused as a puppy. The thought of anyone hurting such a sweet boy absolutely breaks my heart.

Even with his past, Wiley doesn’t have an ounce of aggression in him (except for when he somehow found and destroyed my sandals in 2 seconds ) and every day he’s shown so much courage in opening his heart and trusting me and the world more and more and I could not be more grateful. He is my ultimate teacher and reminds me to always fight with love not anger and face the world with an open heart. He is my little earth angel and I feel so lucky to have found him
