FAF is a non-profit, 501c3, animal rescue in the state of Hawaii.
We do not currently have a facility. We work entirely through our foster network, with foster families located throughout the island of Oahu. Please see the “contact us” section for serviceable areas.
All of our adoptions include spay/neuter, microchip, deworm, initial vaccines, and an initial wellness exam.
Our adoption fee is $250.
We are constantly changing our “available” dogs, so please refer to the “Adoptions” section to see who we have at this time.
Please click on the “Get Involved” tab and fill out a foster application. Send all inquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org
Our adoption process is fairly simple. We do an initial consultation to learn more about what you are looking for in a new addition, either in person or over the phone. Then we schedule a “meet and greet” where you get the chance to meet your potential pup in person. Lastly, we do a home delivery where we bring the pup to your home and finalize paperwork. These steps are subject to change depending on each individual situation, but are generally how the adoption process goes. Our goal through this process is to find the right match for both pups and people, which might require additional meetings at the discretion of the adoptions coordinator.
Please check our “Upcoming Events” tab for more information.
Please send us an email at email@example.com if you intend to surrender your dog. Include any and all records and information that will give us an idea of “who” your dog is.
First, take the dog to any veterinary hospital or shelter to scan for a microchip. If the dog is NOT identified file a report immediately with the Humane Society at http://www.hawaiianhumane.org/FoundPets
We are always looking for fosters and volunteers. Please see the "Get Involved" tab and fill out an application to let us know you are interested in working with us.
