We asked FAF volunteers for their favorite dog recommendations. Vaccinations and microchipping are essential, but other items can improve your and your pet's lives. Volunteers aren't compensated for these suggestions.

From Tif & Pumpkin:

**Supplements**: Wuffles Probiotics and Hip & Joint supplements. Pumpkin is a geriatric dog at 14 years old, so it’s important to keep up with her joints. She's also got a sensitive tummy so she gets a daily probiotic to keep her gut happy.
**Freeze Dried Food**: Dr. Harvey's Specialty Diet Freeze Dried Food for dogs with allergies is our go to meals. Pumpkin has sensitive skin & tummy, so this food has been the best thing for her digestion.
**Pet Wear**: A&Z Pet Wear Hawaii is the only collar and accessories that Pumpkin uses. We love their choice of fabric & patterns, and we love to support our foster Holly!!

From Brandi & Tucker:

**Hypo Allergenic Shampoo**. So Fresh and so Clean Clean Tucker is an indoor dog so we bathe A LOT. Cocojor Shampoo is our go to! This cleans and conditions without stripping the natural oils. Contains no sulfates, parabens, or dyes. And don’t forget your Minicle Bubble Brush!
**Chewing Treats**. Duck, Duck, Goose. When it comes to Duck necks from Chop Chop Chews we should really just have a subscription. Tucker loves ALL treats but these keep him busy for a few minutes longer.
Pet Wear. I never leave home without a bandana on my dog. Some of our favorites include, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

From Rob & Figgy:

**Personalized Dog Tag**. Can be engraved on both sides, easily readable and won't rub off. This has been invaluable with my dog's unplanned escapades and the eventual phone call from good samaritans. Microchipping is a must, however, having a clearly viewable phone number is nearly as important.
**Hypo Allergenic Shampoo**. Bungalow Woof made by Bubble Shack in Haleiwa where a little goes a long way. Very foamy, smells great and hypo allergenic. No skin reactions from our dog.
**Air Tag Tracker**. It's one of those "better than nothing" solutions. This will track only when in close proximity of an iPhone, so location updates are dependent on whether an iPhone (any iPhone) is nearby. Battery lasts over a year and could be useful for those pets who like to go missing and cause stress. It can look bulky, so probably not recommended for small dogs that are 10 lbs or smaller. Plenty of Air Tag holders are available online depending on your preference of style and color.
